A hammer mill is a machine used to crush or shred material into smaller pieces by the repeated blows of small hammers mounted on a rotating shaft. The material is fed into the mill through a feed hopper and is crushed by the impact of the hammers and by collision with the walls of the grinding chamber. The large solid pieces from the screw press are transferred to the hammer mill. It breaks the large pieces and we get a fine powder of our finished product i.e. meat bone meal(MBM) which is further stored in the storage bin and packed after that.
